Our mission: EFAA helps those in our community whose immediate need for food, shelter and other basic necessities cannot adequately be met by other means, and supports their efforts toward financial stability or self-sufficiency. Our Vision: A caring community building a brighter future for our neighbors in need. EFAA consists of a dedicated Board of Directors, a 20-person staff, and hundreds of committed volunteers without whom this work could not be done. We are honored by the support we receive from the community in which we work. Since 1918, EFAA has been the community safety net for families who have nowhere else to turn when they can't meet their basic needs. In Boulder and Broomfield Counties, we provide support to families, people with disabilities, and seniors by providing assistance with: •Food •Shelter •Rent Assistance •Utilities •Minor medical expenses •Transportation •Furniture •Resource referrals To provide these services, we have two programs: Basic Needs and Shelter. In all cases, EFAA caseworkers or volunteer in-take workers, evaluate the needs of our clients and deliver and coordinate support. Clients must qualify for these services by first calling 303-442-3042 to make an appointment with a caseworker.
