notes: Love In Action Ministries' hometown of Enterprise, Ala., was devastated Thursday afternoon when an F-3 tornado ripped through this city of 22,000, killing eight teenagers at the local high school and one elderly woman who was in her house at the time the storm hit. The destruction is widespread, effecting thousands of people. Here are the stats: 712 homes in Enterprise were affected by the storm; 161 homes were destroyed; 202 homes suffered “major devastation”, 214 homes had minor damage and 139 homes were affected in some way. Love In Action is of course on the ground helping the people of our community, but we desperately need your help. The people in need are begging for the following: hamburgers and buns, ice (they have plenty of water), and toiletries.
