During Tuesday’s Volunteer Appreciation Celebration MCUW’s 2010 Campaign Chair Barry Carpenter, with the Greater Conroe Economic Development, announced the total raised was $4,502,071. The success, in large part, was due to the first million dollar campaign by a local corporation and its employees. Anadarko raised over a million dollars to support MCUW. Barry thanked the 2010 Campaign Cabinet for their support. Volunteers and guests enjoyed a barbeque luncheon prepared by The Preacha’s BBQ and served by The Salvation Army in their emergency response truck.
