Mission: Fish has provided a helping hand for 41 years. Historically, Fish has been one of the most accessible emergency agencies serving the Portland area. It is a direct-service agency helping about 1,685 Oregonians per month. Individuals and families come to Fish for temporary assistance to meet basic needs. Fish provides emergency food boxes, clothing, personal care products (soap, toothpaste, laundry soap, etc.) and referrals to people most in need.

Fish isn’t a food bank or a United Way agency.

SERVICES: Provides emergency clothing, bedding, and household items. Persons receving food stamps for public assistance must have AFS referral.

EMERGENCY FOOD: Emergency food resource for people in need in Clackamas County and in Multnomah west of East 82nd Avenue. Services limited to once every 4 months; sooner with a referral.

MATERIAL RESOURCES: Provides emergency clothing, bedding, and household items. Services limited to once every 4 months.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Call or walk in. Identification is required.

HOURS for services: 10:30am - 2:00pm, Monday - Friday. Office hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday.

FEES: No fee for services.
