Cambridge, MA is home to four of AFSC’s Northeast Programs:
The Healing and Transformative Justice Program works with survivors of crime, those convicted of crime, and their families and communities.
The Material Assistance Program (MAP) gives clothing and basic house goods to people in need in the Greater Boston area.
The Peace and Economic Security Program (PES) works for nuclear abolition, coordinates international peace building efforts, and advocates for peace here at home.
Project Voice advocates for better immigration policies, educates immigrants and low wage workers about their rights, and organizes a host of related community campaigns.
In addition, our Cambridge-based New England Regional Office coordinates the efforts of our New Hampshire, Western Massachusetts and South East New England programs, all of which engage their regions in a variety of peace and justice efforts, and our Wabanaki program, which works for justice and healing in Maine’s Native communities.
