6/2011: per their website, it appears that they take crews to other orgs to help with on-going charitable services.
Collection Center Set Up at Tabernacle's Bus Garage: September 25 & 26, 7 am to 7 pm each day. Tabernacle is partnering with the Carroll County Emergency Management Agency and the Carrollton Baptist Association to provide a collection center for donations to assist those in our area who have lost everything in this week's catastrophic floods. The following items are needed and may be dropped off at the bus garage: bottled water; ready-to-eat foods (i.e. peanut butter, tuna, beef stew, etc.); personal hygiene items; and cleaning supplies. Please note that clothing, furniture and other household items will not be collected at this location. The goal is to collect supplies on Friday and Saturday, then begin distributing to families on Saturday afternoon. Volunteers are needed to work a few hours to receive and to distribute the items. Should you have questions, please contact the church office or the Associational office.
