NATIONAL SHELTER SYSTEM (NSS)

Below is a list of database records for the states and sites that are participating in the FEMA/Red Cross National Shelter System Project. Click on the name on the left and scroll down to see the link to the actual list of locations which are tracking shelters.

The main site at the Red Cross website and the FEMA NSS webpage do not have a link to guide users to different states to get a list of open shelters.

We believe this will change shortly. The project is still in pilot. Have faith...

The goal is to provide a SINGLE website where one can go to find an open shelter, no matter what disaster zone you are in.
