Mission: Under the Office of the Minister of Health, the National Ambulance Center (Centre Ambulancier National - CAN), is located in Avenue Maïs Gâté. A real dispatch center who will intervene in emergency care at the level of 7 circuits (list below) identified according to the health mapping of the metropolitan area.

The CAN has 30 well-equipped ambulances with oxygen, defibrillators and other emergency kits. These ambulances were donated by the Ministry of Health of Brazil who has also donated 360 tons of ringer's solution for the treatment of cholera cases that will allow to treat approximately 50,000 patients with this disease.

This part of a joint partnership between Haiti, Brazil and Cuba aiming to strengthen health systems and epidemiological surveillance in Haiti.
