notes: POSTED 9/9/11 on FB: SUPPLIES NEEDED: Safeguard wormer blocks for cattle, electrolytes, small salt bricks, larger salt blocks, protein tubs for cattle, hay (square and round), cattle cubes with no urea, 10% sweet feed, 12% pellets, worm drench for calves, feed for sheep and goats. Volunteers are still welcome! Please come to the tent area to find out how you can help. With close to 100 horses, we are especially in need of folks who are comfortable hand walking horses. Feeding times are 7am and 5pm. There are water buckets to fill throughout the day, stalls to clean, hay and feed to organize and many other activities. WE WILL NOW FEED AT 6:00PM INSTEAD OF 5-5:30.** WE WILL WALK AT 7:30.** Here's our daily schedule with the new evening time: 7-7:30am - water, feed, hay, clean stalls 9-9:30am - hand walking each horse for exercise Throughout the day: check waters, receive and log donations, field requests, etc. 6:00pm - water, feed, hay, clean stalls 7:30 - hand walk each horse --------------------------- FROM FACEBOOK: TLPRC can care for evacuated and rescued horses for up to 90 days and provide assistance in locating foster care. If your horse is located elsewhere and you have arranged for long term care, we have volunteers who can pick your horse up for relocation.
