PURPOSE:
The HAITI MEDICAL AID PROJECT, INC. is a humanitarian, nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through offering medical care and health care training and relief and development programs.
MISSION:
Established in 2010 by volunteer doctors and paramedics, HAITI MEDICAL AID PROJECT, INC. is a private, voluntary, nonpolitical, nonsectarian organization. Its mission is to improve the quality of life through health interventions and related activities that build local capacity in under-served communities. By offering emergency medical training and health care to local populations and medical assistance to people at highest risk (and lowest resources), and with the flexibility to be on the ground, in the community, HAITI MEDICAL AID PROJECT, INC. works to create emergency health care systems and helps bring them back to self-reliance.
