mission: FROM THE SITE: Sayya Foundation Pakistan Rajanpur (old Name of Organization Anjuman Flah-e- Behbood Kotla Naseer) was set by a group of educated social activist in 1991 but its activities were very limited and it worked as a charity, involve primarily in service delivery to the poor farmers communities; By the end of 1998 it has start functioning as a civil society group expanding its outreach in program areas and in geographically covering more areas by imitating new projects. To provide Basic Health & Education facilities to the marginalized section of society. 2. To empower the farmers and unskilled poor people through Micro credit program and income generation activities. 3. To empower women about their rights and to prevent the Local Customs, tradition through Advocacy campaigns. 4. To aware the Community about population planning welfare and enhance women inter pioneer ship skill. In the context of our strategic plan we would review our activities keeping in mind certain constraints and limitations that were beyond our access and control; i.e. the financial were very limited, we had to depend primarily on our personal contributions and donations from our members and well-wishers, who have contributed to their maximum capacities but very generously they have encouraged us. Second factor was the time frame; we have achieved a significant place among the civil society in short time. This could be our success but at the same time it is another type of constraint. In brief the activity wise review is being presenting just to point out the progress Foundation has been gaining day by day. Networking of Volunteers: Foundation has organized a big network of social volunteers, who are energetic, educated and sensitized persons working actively in their areas of residences. These include social and political activists, elected people’s representatives, lawyers, professionals and media persons. We have organized these volunteers in core-groups. These core-groups are the focal point of our activities in a particular district. These core-groups have started functioning occasionally when required by but we could not utilize these human sources up to the potential. 1. We have established 3 Nos. Community based Organizations 2. Deep Welfare Society Bachal Faqir 3. Women Welfare Society Kotla Ahmed 4.
