People are panicking big time!!!
This morning I received information of 4 dead and rising in Marigot & Cayes Jacmel communes (Towns as well) many more cases in "Savane du bois & Tercere apparently patient "zero" is from Belle Anse commune.
The patients are been transferred with difficulties to Hospital St. Michel in Jacmel because public transportation don't want to take them.

name: Hospital St. Michel or Hôpital Saint Michel de Jacmel (Supported by MSF) -> Hospital St. Michel or Hôpital Saint Michel de Jacmel - "CTU - CHOLERA REHYDRATION CENTER" (Supported by MSF Espagne)
notes: 12/8/10 HEAS Post from Karen with CCH
Jacmel in Saint Michel Hospital has 120 cases, 20 new in the last 2 days, multiple deaths. The hospital/CTC with MSF only has 40 beds for cholera treatment and is being swamped with patients, so we have been asked to expand the CCH/ IMC ORU to a UTC with at least 25 beds and provide American medical staff to assist/train Haitian staff.
1) Supplies are needed for the UTC
2) US medical professionals are needed.
