The Red Cross reports “Money is worth nothing right now, water is the currency,” one foreign aid-worker told Reuters. “This is much worse than a hurricane,” said Jimitre Coquillon, a doctor’s assistant working at a triage center set up in a hotel parking lot. “There’s no water. There’s nothing. Thirsty people are going to die.”

notes: New Life International has 55 disaster purifier systems ($2,500.00 ea) boxed up and waiting to be sponsored and sent out to Haiti either with the sponsoring agency or with disaster relief teams that have contacted us looking for sponsored purifiers to take water purifiers to Haiti.
They also have 35 regular systems boxed ($1,000.00 ea) and ready to be sponsored and shipped. We have the capability to assembling another 100 if the need and sponsorship is there.
