Glendale officials announced this evening that the mandatory evacuations will remain in effect throughout the night and will be reevaluated Sunday morning. An overnight evacuation center has been set up at Crescenta Valley High School - 2900 Community Avenue, La Crescenta The Red Cross is providing food and water at the shelter. Also, the Humane Society has set up an area at the Civic Auditorium for pets that have been evacuated. Pets will be able to stay at the Civic Auditorium overnight. The City’s Emergency Information Center (EIC) is now operational. The shelter at the Glendale Civic Auditorium will close at approximately 10:30 pm. The Red Cross is providing food and water at both of those shelters.
