The horrific bushfires across Victoria have devastated the lives of many Victorians. Help for people affected by the bushfires is available if needed. For personal, emotional and financial support visit the Department of Human Services website or call the Victorian Bushfire Information Line on 1800 240 667
The Victorian and Australian Governments have announced they will provide every possible assistance to help people recover from bushfires. They are providing immediate help for people affected by bushfires:
Cash grants of $1,000
Medium term grants of up to $22,000
Emergency Relief Centres have been set up to help people with assistance in the wake of the Victorian bushfires.
