Mission: Handmeon is an alternative way to create, share, and experience gifts.

This organization provides Temporary or Permanent Service? Don't Know

Notes:

The site allows people to "register" an item and the travel that it takes from person to person. The goal is to create something of greater value than the item itself...a story. It's not clear who pays for postage, but it seems an innovative concept.

From the website:

A Handmeon gift is different in three ways:

You can turn any object into a Handmeon. Bought or made, found or recycled, it's a real, tangible, physical gift.

The gift travels from person to person so that many people can enjoy it, one after another.

Connected to the gift is an online story that continually changes. You can follow the people and stories of the gift as it travels.

You'll be amazed at the new experiences you'll have when you join the community.
