The Katrina Victims Project
The Earth Institute at Columbia University is trying to gather the most
accurate list possible of Hurricane Katrina victims. To do so, anyone
who had a relative or close friend who died from Katrina-related causes
is encouraged to contact the institute and share their story.
Victims need not have died Aug. 29, 2005. Maybe they died in a car
accident while evacuating, or maybe it happened in the days or weeks
afterward from heart attack, stress, suicide or a lack of medication.
Visit online: katrinalist.columbia.edu/
Phone: 1-866-511-0436, leave your phone number or contact information
and someone will return your call to take down the information. The
number is for the Tulane RALLY Foundation, a local partner with
Columbia.
