This toydrive was sponsored by them to provide some enjoyment especially for the children in our canyon that have experienced the trauma of the wildfires and now the aftermath of the massive cleanup... (Because this was the first day of school, schedules were probably pretty tight and so the lovely toys you see in this post, they’re still available. Come by our church between 10 AM and 4 PM....) Oorah!!! Our canyon rises from the ashes, by those who lift us-up. We are so very grateful to you all, for your goodness in this amazing gift. You see, this blessing you brought was not only for our canyon children, but what your very presence represents to worn and weary hearts. Thank you! We've expanded to include a new store at the Gates Community Church. Our goal is to serve the families in the canyon where they are, and as evacuated families move back we need to be there. Each time slot has a specific role and job descriptions are listed! Store Hours are from 10 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Saturday. Volunteers are asked to park in the back parking lot and visit the Volunteer Check-In table 5 minutes before your shift to connect with Kara or your LEAD!
