Food Distribution, Food Pantry (Distributes to the Public) available at Foundation 2 After Hours Food Pantry

The floods of this year are still teaching us lessons about what community means to all of us.

Foundation 2 has been a part of the human services community in Cedar Rapids since July of 1970.

Thank you to those of you who joined on July 23 and see our recently remodeled After Hours Food Pantry and entrance for persons with mobility disabilities. This was also a good opportunity to refresh visitors about crisis services support groups, Mobile Crisis Outreach and telephone crisis lines and to show more about how our services can assist in flood recovery.

During our program we acknowledged support from the Intermec Foundation and had a memorial tribute to former Crisis Center volunteer, Bee Caspers.
