Services, Employment, Internship Program available at South Mississippi Regional Center - Autism Resource Center

Internship is an important part of SMRC’s effort to encourage students in careers which serve individuals with disabilities. Opportunities are available for students to train with professionals and to do research in a wide variety of fields, including early intervention, special education, social work, speech pathology, psychology and dietetics.

SMRC partners with area high schools, vocational schools, community colleges and universities in offering observation sessions and tours of its Long Beach campus and community programs.
