Please deliver peanuts in a large plastic bag that is not stuffed entirely full, but tied shut, not knottted. But knot it close to the bag itself, so that there are no holes for the peanuts to blow out of. They can make a big mess.
NEVER mix "other" packing materials, like cardboard, in with peanuts. That's a big, big mess, too...
Ideally, if you want to be really helpful, please put a few scoops of peanuts into a small plastic shopping bag and knot that up. We call these little bags of peanuts, "Peanut Pillows". The Peanut Pillows get tossed into boxes and for a "nest" at the bottom when we are packing donated items. Peanut Pillows make packing go really fast! They are HIGHLY desireable and useable.
Please put Peanut Pillows into a larger plastic trash or lawn/leaf bag and loosely knot that bag for easy transport.
