Services We Provide:

Funding for the Adult Education and Literacy
program is provided primarily by the Alabama
Department of Postsecondary Education.

The purpose of the Adult Education and Literacy Program is to
provide educational services to those people 16 years of age and
older to:

1) Obtain employment
2) Prepare for the GED examination
3) Prepare for the Alabama Exit Exam
4) Improve academics for employment benefit
5) Prepare for postsecondary education or training
6) Prepare for ASVAB
7) Provide Transition Referral Services
8) Collaborate with other agencies, if needed
9) Provide referral services based on individual needs
