What’s Available
At Helping Hand, we provide a counseling and resource center for families and individuals. We personally help each family or individual improve their situation and break through any barriers that are holding them back and have caused them to seek assistance.
We also offer complete assessment and case management, helping link older adults with necessary referrals and resources. Both programs are free and you don’t have to be a client of the Food Bank to use the services.
Our goal is to help individuals and families overcome personal challenges and lead healthy, productive lives. We work to ensure that people in crisis don’t stay in crisis. Outreach efforts involves schools, churches, social service agencies, non-profits and law enforcement organizations all working together to better our community.
