Crisis Line/HELP line?

This 24/7 telephone service connects the caller with a variety of local crisis service agencies. This collaborative project has been administered by the Ukiah Community Center and ongoing in Mendocino County since 1980.

All callers access the operator who determines the nature of the call and which agency would best suit the callers needs. The operator then connects the caller to the appropriate agency.

Mental Health

Public Health (Alcohol & Other Drug ((AODP)) and HIV/AIDS awareness)

New partner! The "warm line" for callers that are not in immediate crisis but just need to talk.

Project Sanctuary (domestic violence)

Ford Street Project - Emergency shelter and AODP issues. After hours emergency food.

Ukiah Community Center - Emergency food, motel vouchers and gas vouchers.
