Animals are generally subjected to cruelty such as over-loading, sore-neck swollen neck and other physical infirmities and as and when such instances come to the notice of our Inspectors the offenders are prosecuted under the provisions of P.C.A. Act. Our Inspectors are authorized to prosecute offenders and they patrol the areas where the offences are committed and bring the offenders before the Court of Law. Cases of transportation of cattle and fowl in an overcrowded fashion or in a cruel manner are also booked.Complaints received from members of public regarding infliction of cruelty to animals are promptly attended to and remedial action taken. Public may contact on Tele.No 25611628/25612160 and give their complaints to the Duty Inspector between 10.00 a.m and 5,00 p.m. on all working days except second Saturdays and Sundays.
