Services, Family, Children, Recreation, Kid's Cafe Program (Youth) available at Wichita Falls Area Food Bank

Kid's Cafe is a national program started by America's Second Harvest. The Kid's Cafe provides nutritious food to area children in need. Its sites are safe and within easy access of the children it serves. Delicious meals and snacks are supplemented with activities that teach nutritional education. These programs are given at least once a month by the Wichita Falls Dietetic Association. Several activities teach children about health and nutrition, planning of meals, identifying appropriate food choices and preparing appropriate meals for themselves with minimal supervision, and food safety. Children up to the age of 18 are able to eat a our Kid's Cafe program.
