Notes:
Volunteers are the backbone of the Food Bank. Each One is valued for his/her unique talents and contributions. They come from all over our community and share one thing in common - the willingness to give of themselves to help their neighbors in need.
You can make a difference. Whether You are a working professional, a retiree, stay-at-home parent, young child, teenager, college student, scout and/or member of the U.S. Military, we need your help. There are many opportunities to donate your time and talents to help those less fortunate. Without volunteers it would be impossible to keep our doors open.
Volunteer Hours: Monday - Thursday 8-12 and 1-5, closed for lunch
Friday 8-12 and 1-3, closed for lunch
Qualifications for a Food Bank Volunteer:
A willingness to work.
Ability to abide by the safety rules of a working warehouse. (This includes wearing warehouse-appropriate clothing: closed-toed shoes, long pants/jeans or walking shorts, no tank tops.)
If under 13, must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. (In fact, we encourage families to work together!)
