Medical Equipment Loan Program

This service helps those who are in need of medical equipment. Goodwill Industries Easter Seals offers free loans of medical equipment, for up to 90 days, to any person with a temporary need. We repair, clean and sanitize the equipment before each loan. Goodwill Industries Easter Seals is always happy to receive any donations that will expand the loan program.

Hospital beds (manual and electric)
Commodes
Bathtub rails and chairs
Toilet seat risers
Wheelchairs
Transfer benches
Crutches
Canes
Knee and ankle braces

What is a temporary need for medical equipment?
You are recovering from an injury or surgery.
You want to try the equipment before buying it.
You are waiting for insurance coverage approval.
You are helping a friend or relative accept the idea of using equipment.
You have a terminal illness, producing uncertainty about the period of need.
You are a visitor to the area who may not be able to transport your own equipment.

What steps do I take to borrow medical equipment?
