We are primarily a preparedness and response organization. Which
means we offer training year round and respond when disasters
strike.
We are looking for volunteers that want to be effective and
useful in a meaningful way after disasters and/or have a passion
or professional skills that they would like to apply.
We don't always have an active or on-going response project or
a set of volunteer opportunities, so signing up for updates is
the best way to stay engaged and up-to-date.
You don't have to be Jewish to be NECHAMA
Guided by the Jewish tradition of Tikkun Olam, acts to repair
the world, NECHAMA helps people affected by disaster based on
need, not religious creed. We also welcome people of all creeds -
Jewish or otherwise - to join us as volunteers.
