Mission
We accept strays from towns that contract with us for animal control and owned animals for a fee from residents of contracting towns in Bergen County. We accept owned animals for a fee from non-contracting towns if space allows. Check our web site for adoption policies.
General Information

The Bergen County Animal Shelter is located in Teterboro, NJ at 100 United Lane. We are open to the public every day from 1 to 5 pm and on Thursdays until 8 pm. We are closed for adoptions on Mondays. We can't start an adoption or intake in the last half hour we are open.

Due to the lack of power and phones at the shelter, I was asked to post that we desperately need cat litter, canned cat food and cheap 6 inch paper plates (used for feeding wet food to the cats). If anyone is able to get to the shelter with these supplies, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!!

DONATIONS NEEDED-
The shelter is in need of canned cat food, clay litter and small paper plates, as well as bedding for our animals. Our animals can use old sheets, towels, comforters or even small pillows. Any help is greatly appreciated. Our Animals Thank You.
