Funding is urgently needed as well.. this will help with
transportation of tool trailers, shower trailer, mobile kitchen
and supply trailer. It will also be used to help the Hurricane
survivors with immediate basic needs items as well as building
material for those without/under insured. Over 3,000 nutritious
home cooked meals can be served each day out of the DRT mobile
kitchen. Although the cost as well as prep time is more than just
serving sandwiches, etc. we feel very strongly that the meals we
serve be nutritious as well as delicious. The comments we’ve
received from those who’ve benefitted from these meals include
things such as…”thank you for allowing us to keep our dignity
by serving meals that better than even better than we could get
in a restaurant”.
