notes: HURRICANE ISAAC RELIEF UPDATE - 9/2/12 DRT is working with the Slidell Church of Christ as well as the Pearlington, MS Church of Christ. Distribution of supplies as well as volunteers working on flooded houses is currently taking place through both locations. We will also be serving nutritious home cooked meals to several communities this week. Please click the link on the left of this page to register to volunteer. Help is needed with cutting trees (many of which are still blocking roads) and in yards, other clean up, muck and gutting of houses, help distributing supplies, cooking, data entry, etc. VOLUNTEER: http://www.churchesofchristdrt.org/volunteer.php HOW YOU CAN HELP NOW- MONETARY DONATIONS ARE NEEDED. This has been an active year for disasters. Thanks to those of you who have donated funds, DRT has been able to help thousands of disaster survivors with supplies as well as help rebuilding homes. DRT has also provided thousands of full course home cooked meals to volunteers and communities. VOLUNTEERS- We will need volunteers of all skill levels. From cooking to Chain Saw Crews and everything in between. Please click on the link to the left to register.
