This Project is a collaboration between people associated with the Occupy Movement, Occupy the Stage (in New Orleans), Common Ground Collective, Needs Not Met, Portlight.org, Food not Bombs and the Common Ground Clinic. Occupy camps nationwide will act to procure donations of Medical Supplies and Food by performing fundraising drives nationwide. Collected Supplies with be sent to Occupy Distribution Hubs in Jackson, MS; Tuscaloosa, AL; and Birmingham, AL (more hubs being set up around New Orleans now) and then transported into the New Orleans. Occupy the Stage, Community Kitchens and Food not Bombs will set up mobile kitchens to feed those displaced not only by Isaac but also by Katrina (over 10,000 victims live on the streets to this day). Common Ground Clinic and Common Ground Collective will provide medical and disaster relief. -> SEE website:
