Posted request for anyone local to this area to do a hands on assessment on the HEAS. -> 10/26/11 LTel: This site is only accessible by helicopter or by packing in with a mule during the rainy season. Currently the water levels of the rivers are too high to reach by roads. Last week, MSPP officials Dr. Dormercant and Dr. Brunot advised "everything is under control & supplies will be delivered by helicopter". Per the charge Nurse, no supplies have been delivered and no word when that will happen. They are in very bad shape with little supplies, no funding from MSPP for salaries and the British Red Cross left 10/15/11. There have been an average of 2 deaths daily from Cholera. This is a RED ALERT situation with no organizations able to respond.
