Ruth's House is also accepting donations of blankets, sheets, towels, dishes, and pots and pans. It also has a need for volunteers who are willing to give their time. All donations are tax deductible. Donors will be issued receipts for their gifts. Donations may be dropped off during store hours: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shop is closed Sundays and Mondays. The monies that are earned at Ruth's House are used to pay our rent, utilities, salaries and because the law requires that socks and underwear must be new, we purchase socks and underwear. We accept and can use most items. However, we do not accept: Large Appliances, Air conditioners, Computers, VCR's, Televisions, Exercise Equipment, Sporting Goods, Infant and Toddler Car Seats, Sleeper Sofas, Mattresses and Box Springs Donations may be dropped off at the in our Receiving Area at the Garage Entrance at the Rear of the Store. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY.
