Donation drop-offs: Calhoun County EMA specifically requests the following items: rope, tools, gloves, masks, tarps, first aid supplies, baby/infant supplies (diapers, formula, wipes). Bring donations to the following locations:
* Alexandria: Mt. Zion Baptist Church at 101 Zion Rd. in Alexandria asking for donations of bathing supplies, towels, soap, shampoo, etc.
* Anniston: Salvation Army, 420 Noble Street (24 hours a day)
* Anniston: Commissary at McClellan in the Town Center Complex, 111 Town Center Drive (center open from 8 AM til 5 PM)
* Anniston: American Legion Post 26, behind the Anniston High School Football Field, from 1 PM til 8 PM
* Jacksonville: Eagle Point Church, 301 Henry Road SW, Jacksonville
* Jacksonville: Al-Effinas Tuscan Grill is accepting donations of water, food, clothes, money, flashlights, batteries, baby items, work gloves, sunscreen, coolers, and anything else
* Isaiah 58-Word Alive Church on Highway 78 (center open from 9 AM til 4 PM)
* Ohatchee City Hall is accepting donations of water, food, clothes, coolers, sun block, work gloves, work goggles, ice, flashlights, baby supplies, and anything else.
* Ohatchee and Shoal Creek are in need of baby bottles, baby food, formula, water, food, toothbrushes, tooth paste, blankets and clothes. Drop off items at Ohatchee Town Hall.
* Oxford: Quiznos Subs is accepting donations of water, food, clothes, money, flashlights, batteries, baby items, work gloves, sunscreen, coolers, and anything else
* Oxford: Quintard Mall is a drop off location for donations for storm victims. Please bring donations to Guest Services between 11am-8pm. All donations will be delivered to the Salvation Army or the American Red Cross. Also at Quintard Mall, Sears is offering ways for people who receive FEMA assistance to save while rebuilding. Click here for more information. Also at the mall, Victoria's Secret is collecting gently worn or like-new bras and will donate them to shelters in Calhoun County.

NOTE: ALWAYS CALL AHEAD TO DONATION DROP SITES. NEEDS CHANGE ON A DIME IN A DISASTER ZONE. ONE MOMENT THEY NEED DIAPERS, THE NEXT IT'S FOOD. ALSO BE AWARE THAT AS THE FIRST RESPONSE STAGE BEGINS TO WIND DOWN THAT DONATION COLLECTIONS BEGIN TO MOVE TO OTHER SITES AND SHUT DOWN. SO CHECK BEFORE YOU DELIVER!
