Their volunteers are reaching out to rural communities of Calhoun Co. that are without transport to get to POD's/assistance and folks camping and sleeping in their cars that have the most critical needs in this region.

New Hope Ministries will be collecting at various locations to send to people that have been affected by the recent tornadoes in Alabama and surrounding areas. It's hard to imagine losing everything but the very clothes on your back during such tragedies. We started with JUST SHOES, NOW WE ARE EXPANDING!

We will be collecting to distribute to disaster-stricken areas of Alabama.
If you would like to collect shoes at your church, business, or organization, and deliver them to New Hope, we can set an appointment for drop off day and time.
We believe that this outreach effort "Soles of Hope" will provide shoes and hope during a devasting time in the state of Alabama. Step up today and let us unite forces and bring soles of hope to many families.

Soles of Hope Alabama Tornado Relief Needs:
• Drinks- (anything but water, like juice, Gatorade, soft drinks)
• New underwear (all sizes)
• New children’s clothes 3t and up
• New shoes (women’s or kids)
• Coolers
• Easy ups or some sort of canopy (shade from heat)
• Rakes, shovels, gloves, hammers, building supplies
• Storage bins to sort items, but also for the survivors to store what little they do get or have. Many are staying in campers or tents.
• Grills and charcoal (many have no way to cook but grills)
• Box fans
• Food and snacks
• Air mattresses
• Socks
• Toys, games, or video games for children
• Sunscreen & bug spray
• Baby supplies
• (Wifi or air card ) any way to connect to internet when out
• Gas cards (to stay mobile gathering and distribution)
• Gift cards to buy item needed
