Per a phone call with Patty, they are asking for basic neccessities - mostly "setting up a household" items. If you need any questions or need additional information, please call Patty at the number below.

I just talked with Ms. Patti, and she said that the immediate need has actually been met and that everyone who *can* have power, has it. They have plenty of water and basic things. She said that the donations they will be needing at this point are household items. There are lots of homes with 3 families in them, so they don't have room for extra "stuff". However, she said that as they get in FEMA trailers or what have you, they will need things like bedsheets, towels and cookware. So.... she told us that if we want to donate, bring these types of things to the furniture store there later in the week. They'll be setting up a room there for the donations. Also...she said groceries would be good to bring as well, as long as they're non-perishables. Also, nobody is cooking for the area anymore either, so no need for take out plates or things of that nature.
