(go over rr tracks toward Amory Masonic Cemetary - we are on the right behind chain link fence at former boys home)
Dana Copeland: Just got off phone with the lady who is working at Smithville Warehouse ..they are currently filled to the rim & overflowing with supplies thanks to your generosity in giving so unselfishly to help others in need! Due to this, our Sav-A-Life location will not be taking any further deliveries - unless you have already contacted us & s...et up a delivery time with us. We will continue to take furniture, appliances (small and large), monetary donations & wal-mart gift cards. Our main commitment at Sav-A-Life was to be good stewards of the time, talent & treasurers that God would provide for this and provide HE DID! We are so blessed by His Goodness! If you have items & have not scheduled with us please consider contacting & sharing with those in need that are in need along the MS River. We cannot thank you enough for your support these past weeks & ask for your continued prayers for those affected. God Bless You for your sharing of the time, talents & treasures that we prayed for!
The warehouse at Smithville is currently full and so is our facility. Effective immediately, we are only taking donations of furniture, appliances, Wal-Mart cards and monetary donations here at our Sav-A-Life location. If this status changes we will notify everyone. There are no words to say that can tell each of you how appreciativ...e we are for all that you have done and continue to do. We still have needs to be met and volunteers are really really needed if you will call and sign up. Also the volunteers and shelter families are being fed daily and there is a need there. Contact information on that is listed below in postings. Again God Bless You for your generous sharing and giving.
In a disaster zone, the needs change on a dime and what is available also changes very quickly. It is vital that you call ahead to confirm both what is on hand and what is needed at the time before pick up or delivery.
