In the wake of Alabama's recent devastating tornado outbreak, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham has been assessing the well-being of the 700+ children in our programs. Approximately 50% of the children we serve have been contacted and accounted for. Unfortunately, we do have 13 children and their families who have lost everything - their home, clothes, and personal belongings. We are asking for the following donations to help these children and their families rebuild their lives:
*children's clothes (all sizes)
*NEW socks, shoes, and underwear
*school supplies
*Wal-Mart gift certificates worth between $10 and $50
*buckets and plastic bins (to store salvaged belongings)
Please drop off all donations at our office located at 1901 14th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35205. Thank you.
