Metro Atlanta residents were incredibly generous during the event and donated more than $30,000 in one hour. RELATED: Georgia to release storm damage estimate Now, AAA Auto Club South is collecting donations for tornado relief at all five of its Atlanta-area offices. Anyone may contribute to this effort; donations will be accepted during normal business hours through Thursday, May 5. With the help of a truck from Penske, AAA employees will gather the donated items and deliver them to storm victims in Catoosa, Rabun and Dade Counties on Friday, May 6.
