To help address this need, M-POWER is opening a satellite clinic in the Pratt City community starting tomorrow, Monday, May 2.
At this point, we can't accurately measure the level of need. The Pratt City resource center is open from 8 AM to 7 PM seven days a week, so we will try to match those hours as long as the demand is there and we have volunteers.
We are looking for medical professionals and chaplains/pastors/pastoral counselors who are willing to work in 4 hour shifts beginning Monday from 1 PM - 7 PM and Tuesday through Saturday 8 AM until 7 PM.
If you are interested in volunteering, please email me at ryan.hankins@mpowerministries.org and let me know your availability.

The M-POWER Health Center is the only free medical and dental clinic in Jefferson County, providing acute medical care and dental extractions to the uninsured and underinsured. Our medical team is comprised of doctors, nurses, dentists and other medical professionals who volunteer from local hospitals, clinics, and private practices. These volunteers show God’s love through action, serving patients with compassion and respect. -> 5/2/11: From email sent by M-Power
