Lakeview Baptist Church (9225 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery) will be collecting non-perishable goods, bottled water, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, first aid supplies, individually wrapped snacks, and diapers for those devastated by the tornado in Elmore County. Collection will take place beginning today through Sunday at the church. Drop off times as follows: Today - until 5:00;...Friday - 9:00 - 5:00; Saturday - 1:00 - 3:00; Sunday - 9:00 - 12:30. In addition, Elmore County needs volunteers, as soon as possible, to help with clean-up. The church will be sending a team to Eclectic Friday morning. Please meet at the church at 8 AM if you would like to travel with other members of the church to Elmore County High School.
