CSM Director Tracy Hipps just went to Pratt City, and National Guard is not letting many come through the city right now because they are still rescuing people from the disaster. We are collecting items for those in need, and you can bring them by our headquarters at 3600 3rd Avenue South 35222. Keep those affected by the storms in your thoughts and prayers.
Tornado Relief Efforts
Hey, We are working around the clock to mobilize and send out volunteer efforts and resources to the places hit hard by the tornadoes in the Birmingham area. Below you will find a list of needs for the relief efforts and how you can help. We are work...ing with churches in the Birmingham area and other organizations to reach these relief efforts. If any of this interests you email me attracy @ csmission.org or call (205)252-9906.
DONATIONS: We are collecting donations for disaster relief, and 100% of the donations goes to the relief efforts. You can make checks payable to Christian Service Mission.
Diapers
Water (water bottle, jugs, etc.)
Food Any type of care products (soap, wipes, toothpaste, etc.)
Feminine care products
Clothing (tshirts, pants, undergarments, etc.)Socks
* Any items that can be for immediate needs
LABOR: We have various physical and labor needsWe need volunteers to collect and sort through the items we are receiving here at Christian Service Mission
We are currently preparing and serving meals from 6am until 6pm in the areas hit hard by the tornado along through all of next week. We need volunteers to help prepare and serve these meals any time during these times through the week.
Beginning Saturday we are mobilizing volunteer groups for clean up efforts. We will soon send out specific times and locations for these clean up efforts
Within the next two weeks we will be collect larger household items such as mattresses, appliances, etc., for the people hit hard by the tornado disaster
We want to truly thank you for you efforts in helping out neighbors in need during this tragic time. We will be sending out more updates about the needs of our community.

CSM Director Tracy Hipps just went to Pratt City, and National Guard is not letting many come through the city right now because they are still rescuing people from the disaster. We are collecting items for those in need, and you can bring them by our headquarters at 3600 3rd Avenue South 35222. Keep those affected by the storms in your thoughts and prayers.
Tornado Relief Efforts
Hey, We are working around the clock to mobilize and send out volunteer efforts and resources to the places hit hard by the tornadoes in the Birmingham area. Below you will find a list of needs for the relief efforts and how you can help. We are work...ing with churches in the Birmingham area and other organizations to reach these relief efforts. If any of this interests you email me attracy@csmission.org or call (205)252-9906.
DONATIONS: We are collecting donations for disaster relief, and 100% of the donations goes to the relief efforts. You can make checks payable to Christian Service Mission.
IMMEDIATE NEEDS: We are collecting items here at Christian Service Mission from 8am-6pm right now and all through next week. Come between those times to drop off these items. These are items we need to get to the people in the disaster:
Diapers
Water (water bottle, jugs, etc.)
Food Any type of care products (soap, wipes, toothpaste, etc.)
Feminine care products
Clothing (tshirts, pants, undergarments, etc.)Socks
* Any items that can be for immediate needs
LABOR: We have various physical and labor needsWe need volunteers to collect and sort through the items we are receiving here at Christian Service Mission
We are currently preparing and serving meals from 6am until 6pm in the areas hit hard by the tornado along through all of next week. We need volunteers to help prepare and serve these meals any time during these times through the week.
Beginning Saturday we are mobilizing volunteer groups for clean up efforts. We will soon send out specific times and locations for these clean up efforts
Within the next two weeks we will be collect larger household items such as mattresses, appliances, etc., for the people hit hard by the tornado disaster
We want to truly thank you for you efforts in helping out neighbors in need during this tragic time. We will be sending out more updates about the needs of our community.
