mission: Our mission is to reduce the maternal, fetal, neonatal and childhood death rates in northern Haiti. We currently have a birth center and clinic located in Morne Rouge and are staffed by Haitian and American midwives as well as American Naturopathic Physicians (for more info on Naturopathic medicine see www.naturopathic.org). We receive volunteers from all over the world including midwives, naturopathic physicians, medical and osteopathic physicians, nurses, acupuncturists, and many others in the health care field. We also accept community volunteers to help with some of our ongoing projects including working in our garden which goes to feed some of our patients as well as those working in our organization, building latrines, and teaching various classes to people living in our area. -> MamaBaby Haiti is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and well being of mothers and babies.
