Our school is open in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti. We have 32 children in our school who are counting on all of us to provide not only rich instruction, but food and clean water. Hundreds of children live in this village -- the majority have no hope of obtaining an education.
Wings Over Haiti is all volunteer, so 100% of all donations go directly to Haiti Relief.

mission:
Wings Over Haiti is operating its school for Haitian children with the hopes that they will become the bright future leaders of Haiti.
One of our Directors, Shad St. Louis, a native Haitian and Middletown NY school guidance counselor, has facilitated a plot of land in his hometown Croix des-Bouquets where a former school once stood. Together with the people of the community, Wings members cleared the earthquake demolished building and secured ideal pre-fab housing for our new school.
The new school, which will also provide valuable community health and nutrition services, will initially consist of six solar powered buildings made from a dense soy based foam.
Board member Melissa McMullan, an elementary school teacher in Port Jefferson, NY, is spearheading a curriculum that will focus on teaching children critical thinking skills, versus rote memorization. The school will remain unaffiliated with any single religious organization and will embrace Haitian culture and language while helping open the window to the modern world for the children it serves.
Sustaining this vital resource will require continued effort and resources. We hope you will support us. We are open to ideas, volunteers, air miles and of course any financial or material donations. -> Wings Over Haiti is operating its school for Haitian children with the hopes that they will become the bright future leaders of Haiti.
