We offer opportunities and assistance to children and families, senior citizens, the disabled and many others. In order to meet the needs of those we serve, we actively seek out partners in the community to join with us as advocates for those in need. Catholic Charities provides service exclusively in Colorado from Metro Denver to Northern Colorado and the Western Slope. 85% of our funds are used for direct service to the needy, with only 11% of our budget used in administration and delivery of our services and 4 % for fundraising. In the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, Catholic Charities, through its many programs, provided services to over one hundred thousand of our neighbors. A majority of these people were families with children. Total donations and grants were $15.7 million. We could not carry out this vital mission without support from many caring individuals and organizations in Colorado. Every gift, whether of time, talent, or money, is important and greatly appreciated. We are deeply grateful to our donors, volunteers, and the many foundations, corporations, and businesses that support our efforts.
