The AmpleHarvest.org Campaign is an all volunteer effort to diminish hunger in America by enabling millions of Americas backyard gardeners to share their excess garden produce with one of the more than 1,700 registered local food pantries.

An estimated 100 billion pounds of food, enough to totally eliminate hunger, is thrown away annually in the United States.

It does not have to be this way - and you can help.

All it takes to "activate" it is for you to urge a local food pantry to register at AmpleHarvest.org and spread the word to your gardening friends.
