mission: Mission of hope was founded in March 2000, in the village of Thozin, Grand-Goâve, Haiti, by Pastor Lexidan and Renée Edmé along with their two children Alexis and A. Jay. The Edmé’s came to Grand-Goâve with a vision to minister to the needs of the population spiritually, physically and emotionally. The first work to begin was spiritual, with a church plant in the front yard of a dear elderly man named Bauvais Gabriel. He welcomed Mission of Hope with open arms and an open heart. ... Mission of Hope has a sponsorship program to help support the education of the 1000 students enrolled in schools. With an offering of $25 per month, sponsors help to provide a high quality Christ-centered education and healthcare for a child in Haiti. We believe that all children should have access to the best quality education, no matter their financial ability and we work hard at providing that kind of education for the poorest of the poor in the Grand-Goâve area of Haiti.
