EMAILED PRECIOUS IN HIS SIGHT 2/3/10 5:58 pm PST - LTEL:
Hello,
The Citizen Action Team has been collaborating with an on the ground volunteer (Michael Andrew) that has been visiting Haitian orphanages, assessing needs and getting supplies/aid to those that have critical needs.
On 1/30/10, Michael gave us the following update on the Maison des Enfants de Dieu Orphanage:
"delivered a week of food, diapers, 2 soccer balls- they have 51 kids, expecting 40 more, a baptist group is building a water well for them, but they still need a long term solution".
We'd like to get a current status/update on the orphanages needs, or be notfied that they have secured long term solutions.
Is it possible for me to contact you? We are passing this information along to on the ground NGO's to get coordinated efforts rolling and a regular delivery route to insure the children are fed and taken care of. However, if your organization has the means to facilitate this through your sponsorship, we'll focus on the underserved.
Thank You,
